Xojo Web - Easier Than PHP

When our organization needed to capture and analyze the time representatives spent assisting members an opportunity for a simple web application was identified. Originally a solution using php/MySQL was put into use and although it worked it was cumbersome and the appearance and functionality left much to be desired. A 'rewrite' was desirable and Xojo Web proved easier to work due to its familiarity. The redeveloped time recording solution took just a couple days and is in regular use.

About Paul
Paul has been fascinated by computers since he began programming on a Commodore Vic 20 in 1980. Destined for a future in the exciting and newly developing world of 'computer programming' at age 20 he became a police officer instead. Being described as an enthusiastic amateur by the police I.T. department didn't stop him developing crime management and analysis systems in between his policing duties during the 1990's. Thirty two years later he's retired from policing and provides consultancy, I.T. support and programming services to a small group of local clients.
