Get Hooked On Webhooks

Webhooks are an extremely powerful and increasingly popular way for applications to share information with each other. Using a webhook, an application can notify another application when an event has occurred, and provide information about the event so that the receiving application can act on it. And yet for all of the power that webhooks provide, they're also easy to develop and work with. It's little wonder that they've become so popular in recent years.

In this session, you will discover:

  • What webhooks are, and why they are so popular
  • The differences between webhooks and APIs
  • How to develop Xojo applications that send and receive webhook notifications
  • Best practices for implementing webhooks
